In Watsonville, there are two easy ways to recycle your used motor oil and filters. You may set it out next to your blue recycling cart for collection or take it to a convenient drop off location.

Curbside Collection of Used Motor Oil and Filters (Free of Charge)
1. Use a City-provided 2.5 gallon plastic jug.
2. Pick up a free jug at the Waste and Recycling Drop Off, City Hall or Kragen Auto Parts
3. Set jug at curb next to blue recycling cart.
4. Place drained filter in plastic bag and set at curb.oil filter in a bag
5. Your jug will be emptied and returned.

Take Used Oil and Filter To These Locations (Free of Charge)
1. Kragen Auto Parts – 401 Rodriguez and 1626 Freedom Blvd. Accepts oils, filters, auto batteries
2. Autozone 1502 Freedom Blvd. Accepts oil, filters, auto batteries
